- Who Do You Think You Are?, at My Open Wallet, is a fantastic, thought-provoking journey through the way we think about who we are and who our peers are, and the ways this affects our financial choices.
- Towards a Simpler Life, at My Money and My Life, talks about how striving for voluntary simplicity/simple living means trying to balance the "three pillars" of time, money, and morality/values and sometimes sacrificing one for the others, but includes some examples of practices and habits that promote all three.

Best of the Best from the Carnival of Personal Finance!
For the Carnival of Personal Finance's 2nd anniversary edition, J.D. asked us all to submit our best post from the last two years. After a week of dithering, wavering, and agonizing over which of my own posts to submit, I finally got to see the finished product today-- and it is certainly special! I highly recommend you wander your own way through them, but here are a few I thought were particularly good:
